Best sports book to bet on & watch football ? Free drinks ?

Our friends are going to Vegas next weekend and want to spend Sunday afternoon at a nice sportsbook put some money on the games and watch as the games play out. More concerned with having fun and drinking than shopping for best odds. We are looking for a reccomendation for the best sportsbook area in a casino for this.

Also, do they provide free drinks while doing this type of gambling ?

Not sure where they are staying , but I don%26#39;t think that is a concern.

Sunday afternoon is too late! NFL action starts at 10am Vegas time and sports books start to fill up a couple of hours prior to that.

Caesars, Mandalay Bay and Bellagio all have good books. Off-Strip the Hilton is good too. I%26#39;ve no idea about free drinks - I don%26#39;t bet enough on sports to qualify for more than one or two tickets.... :-)

The Hilton is by far the best for the casual sports bettor. Large screens in a theatre like setting with $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.

At most larger books, sports bettors are lower than horse players and drinks can get quite expensive if you%26#39;re there for many hours.

Thanks for the help. I%26#39;ll let them know to get there early.

Bellagio and Caesar%26#39;s are great, and you get free drinks at both. All you need is one ticket.

To be honest, I ahve watched games at almost all the major sportsbooks on the strip, and even some off strip. Each one is good its own way.

The best ones are Caesers, Ballys, Bellagio, Wynn, and The Hilton. The only problem with those is that they can very crowded.

There are some great off strip books. South point, Texas Station, Santa Fe, the Orleans, ect ect. These books all are very nice, but are ussualy not as crowded. Unless its the SB, you will never have a problem getting good seats.

As far as free drinks, most hotels still give them out. But many of them require you bet a certain amount. The nicer the hotel, the more you will probably have to bet to drink for free. The off strip resorts I mentioned, will give anyone who bets drink tickets. But at Bellagio, you may need to bet a 100$ or more before you drink for fee.
