How long is the river walk and does it go to all the casinos?
Thanks for your information.

River Walk
The river walk is about a mile long and runs along our beautiful river behind all but two Casino Drive hotels. It doesn%26#39;t go all the way up to Harrah%26#39;s. It stops at the River Palms. And of course it does not run by the Tropicana which is our only hotel on the other (West) side of Casino Drive. The Avi Hotel/Casino is located about 8 miles outside of Laughlin on the Colorado River also.

Thanks you people are awesome. I guess I will bring my walking shoes next month.

The riverwalk is especially nice to walk in the evening and night.
However one word of caution, there is wildlife along the rivers edge. Beaver, raccoon, skunk and ducks, just to mention a few. They are for the most part harmless as long as you respect their personal space.
Also if you bring some stale bread, corn or crackers you will be the ducks%26#39; best friend.
Other than a pair of skunks that used to cross the river walk a few years ago that I have not seen for over a year, to get to the river, I have never seen any ';animals'; on the walk itself. There are a few Mallard ducks on the grass at the Pioneer, but that%26#39;s it. Oh, I guess there are still some of Don Laughlin%26#39;s released pigeons around too. I am down there pretty much every day or evening.
When at the Edgewater, I was assigned to guard Oscar De La Hoya a couple of years ago when he was in town for the River Run just days before his fight with Shane Mosley. He signed autographs on the River Walk, and I guess you could classify him as sort of an ';animal'; in the ring.
We were there in July, and came across a couple of little skunks when walking in the evening.
We just walked on by, and they ignored us. :)

Right now we have a mama skunk with four babies that is making her home somewhere near the gazebo at the Pioneer. They really don%26#39;t bother anyone and are a very beautiful animal.
We used to have a racoon with young but haven%26#39;t seen her in a long time.
I was there last week and watch a small herd of Skunks. They are fine as long as you don’t startle them. They go off pretty easy. I also got to watch some one feeding 4 raccoons Pringles on the Riverwalk by the Edgewater. I am a late night River Walk Walker so usually at about 3am it’s just me and the Skunks. I do fear someday I will have to have room service send up 85 Bloody Mary’s and fill my tub.
