Got married there last year. My wife got her dress at David%26#39;s Bridal in Pittsburgh. She then UPS overnighted the dress to the Flamingo where they put it in storage until our arrival (make sure you let the hotel know to keep it, otherwise they will send it back if it is over a week before you get there).

The key for my tux was easy because there was an affiliate store in Vegas, so all they had to do was fax the measurements and the design/colors to them (After Hours tuxedoes is affiliated with David%26#39;s Bridal and they have two shops in Vegas), and when I got there I just picked up my tux. Simple.

My suggestion for the tux would be get your measurements at home, go on After Hours%26#39;s website, and pick out what you want and see what they can do for you.

Definitely overnight the dress to and from Vegas. One less thing to worry about.

Got married in Vegas last year. The wedding shop packed my dress in a carry box, yes took it on has hand luggage, no problem.

Thought it would need to be steamed when I got there (had spent a week in Memphis first), took it out of the box and a thousand tissue papers later and hung it up the night before. It was perfect.

You may want to check with your airline about taking the box as hand luggage in advance though. We were lucky enough to be travelling business class and BA were really accomodating with storing my dress.

I went with NW airline.

I got married in Vegas and had the same issue about my dress, it was huge and I couldn%26#39;t stomach shipping it and the worry that came with that so I brought it on the plane. I flew first class on Continental and they couldn%26#39;t have been nicer. They took my dress and stored it in the closet where the crew hangs their stuff during the flight. Call your airline tell them your situation and ask them what they could do for you, they deal with it all the time.

Hi there, I am getting married in Las Vegas next month. We are flying from Manchester with Thomas Cook, I called the airline and they provide you with another 20kg of luggage allowance free of charge, they say that you have to put it into a suitcase and check it in as normal though. I%26#39;m getting married next April and I will be flying with Virgin. I will be taking my dress on the plane as hand luggage - I do not really feel comfortable packing it in my suitcase!

Hi we fly out on the 19th August to married on the 25th Aug with BMI direct from Manchester and my fiance has spoken with BMI and they have said she can carry dress on in a suit bag and they will allow this no problem. I think just depends on who you fly with really.
