The V8 version gets about 11 Mpg in the City and a whopping 14 Mpg on the highway. I think that works out to about maybe 17 to 18L/100km on the highway.
On the other hand the 2 wheel drive 6 cyl. version officially gets 15 city / 20 highway so maybe needs only 12 liters per 100km. Based on $3.70/gal. gas 100 miles (160km) of highway driving would cost about $18.5 .... more for the V8 4WD version.

Thanks Sequim88not, not many miles for your bucks then...,lol my 1.8 ford focus tdci estate does 54 miles a gallon for combined urban/city driving, just a little difference...lol
