I got that offer from Palazzo/Venetian..(4 days free)

For those of you familiar with both, which would you chose?

I have been reading all the TR, but still can pin it down which I should stay at.

I have never been in the Palazzo, and the Venetian only 3 times. mainly for shows.

I am very comfortable at the MGM, but this offer may not come around ever again.

I got that offer from Palazzo/Venetian..(4 days free)

If you read the last 50 reviews for Venetian and the last 50 for Palazzo the reviews are quite a bit better for Palazzo. Palazzo is not as crowded, less rowdiness, and is brand new.

I got that offer from Palazzo/Venetian..(4 days free)

you received AN offer - there is no ';that'; offer - many offers exist for this, and most, properties.

as far as which, doesn%26#39;t much matter to me. V is a little closer to some of the better restaurants, especially Bouchon, and the small pool. You share spa and pools.

if on a week-end night TAO at Venetian has a large crowd, if that matters to you.

there is no discernible difference

Bridgefan, I received ';that'; offer, meaning the offer that has been discussed on this board the last few days.

What%26#39;s the difference how I worded it anyhow? Enough for you to take issue with my wording?

I got an offer without gambliing- one of my customers works in Marketing at the Venetian- and offered me a room when I go to LV, but my Co wont let us accept gifts from customers.

So bumbed, I guess I am glad he does not work for the Four Seasons.

go for the Palazzo!

Any offers around that people can share a code for, at Palazzo?

We have received several offers for Palazzo and are far from big gamblers. Stayed at Venetian three times and loved the suite. Want to try Palazzo, but it is not in the near future for us. LOL! Too many Vegas trips in last couple of years, so austerity budget for next few months! Get our local fix at Hard Rock in Tampa!

Spyrogram - I understood your wording of ';that'; offer and I say lucky you! Probably can%26#39;t go wrong with either, but if it were me, I%26#39;d consider the sedateness (sp?) of the Palazzo vs. Venetian being more busy/lively. If you enjoy your time at MGM, you probably enjoy lots of activity around you so I%26#39;d choose Venetian. You can always head over to Palazzo to check it out.

I just received a fall offer from Club Grazie...they want me back for another four nights, but I won%26#39;t be visiting Vegas again until next summer - I need a year to rest up from my last trip (j/k). I stayed in a renovated Venetian room last summer and recently stayed 4 nights at the Palazzo. I was extremely comfortable at both hotels - both trips were split between the Venetian/MGM and MGM/Palazzo - V %26amp; P are both several notches above MGM based on room/ammenities.

I had a bad experience with the bell desk at the Palazzo when I checked out and was extremely dissatisfied with the way the management of the Palazzo handled it. I understand that the V %26amp; P are managed jointly, but in acknowledgement of my current biased viewpoint, I would stay at the V next time.

I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll have any regrets staying at the V or the P instead of MGM - just make sure the bell desk/valet loads your car/taxi with all of your bags and you have a visual on them before you leave the hotel premises =)

I got THAT offer from the Palazzo, and I also had the Bellagio offer to comp me a 5-day stay in one of their suites. I%26#39;m a top derivatives trader at London%26#39;s largest hedge fund, my P%26amp;L for 2008 is sky high thanks to the credit crunch and the crude oil madness. I worked my a$$ off for the last 6 months and I%26#39;ve made more money than 99.99% of UK or US citizens make in a lifetime. I decided to take a break and go somewhere fun and hot (London%26#39;s weather%26#39;s been awful for weeks) for a few days. My BA First Class ticket to Vegas via DFW and LAX cost 6.5K sterling. Do you think I care for hotel comps? Of course not. I have a penthouse suite booked at the Wynn and I%26#39;m paying for it - cash. They may or may not comp it when they see who I am and who I work for but in any case who cares, either way it%26#39;s small change.
