Bette Midler and/or Rita Rudner

Has anyone seen Bette Midlers show in Vegas?

I just saw she will be there when we are in November.

No Cher, No Elton, so what about Bette or Rita?

I saw Bette in July. It%26#39;s a great show from a true legend of show business. Catch it if you can.

Rita is a totally different show but just as worthwhile. Much more low key but VERY funny. Also recommended.

Bette and Rita are too expensive for me. If they would release some cheap seats to tix4tonight, I%26#39;d go see them.

I saw Rita Rudner and really enjoyed her show. Very funny, smart humor.

I am hoping to see Bette in November, so haven%26#39;t seen her yet, but from what I know if I could only see one show, I would see Bette.

Biggest difference I have heard is that Rita uses absolutely no foul language in her routine, so she is much more family friendly.

I took my Mom to see Rita, we loved her show. I think we paid $30 for the tickets. She plays in a little theater at Harrahs that seats about 300 people. I%26#39;m buying tickets for Bette for our next visit, they are $180 a piece. She plays at the Coliseum at Caesars that seats 4,000. Don%26#39;t pay extra for the VIP seats for Rita. We were seated in the last row, which would have been fine. Then five minutes before the show we were all moved to the third row because nobody was seated in the VIP seats.

Rita is amusing and clever. Her show is a one woman show whereas Bette%26#39;s is a huge production with lots of glitter and glitz and beautiful costumes and dancing girls, and she sings lots of her old favorites. I%26#39;d cerainly choose Bette! If you decide to select Rita, I went to the half-price booth and got a percentage off the regular price, not nearly half off the seats. It figured out to be about like getting the VIP tickets for the regular price. We had our picture taken with her as part of the VIP package. She is really friendly and nice.

I paid $65 to see Rita and it was not worth it. She did say some cute things but nothing hilarious. I noticed her show in Las Vegas available for rent on DVD... I think ou should see Bette Midler for the whole concert experience and rent Rita%26#39;s DVD if you want to see her. All Rita did was stand around in a pretty gown complaining so it%26#39;s not like you would be missing out on visual effects or a musical experience by seeing her on dvd... Just my opinion...

If you are a Bette Midler fan at all...I highly recommend seeing her show. She is very entertaining, there is a little of everything in her show. Comedy, up tempo singing, ballads and of course her own brand of raunchy jokes. She does use the ';F'; word a few times...maybe 2-3 times but it%26#39;s not gratuitous.

I can%26#39;t wait to see her again.

I loved watching The Sopranos so the ';F'; word won%26#39;t really bother me. (that much) it%26#39;s alot different when Tony says it than someone else. :)
