I am visiting Las Vegas next May with my sister and we are keen to do the half day grand canyon helicopter tour, and also see a few shoes including the Beatles Love at The Mirage. The tickets look very expensive, are we better waiting til we are there rather than book online before we go? In particular the cirque de soleil is very expensive.

Las vegas shows and excursion tickets
Love is very popular and sells out regularly. You%26#39;re safest option, if you really want to see the show, is to buy your tickets in advance. You may not be able to get tickets once you arrive.
Las vegas shows and excursion tickets
tours, i would wait until you get to vegas - you can book them at your hotel - or if you are doing one of the tours from vegas.com - just take the phone # and call after you arrive and book it - tours are not refundable - and who knows what can happen??
shows - especially love or any of the cirque - are usually not discounted - they are pretty popular - but again, you can do it right online say maybe 2 weeks before you leave - unless you want first row seats?
You are probably not going to find discounted Love tickets. However- you don%26#39;t have to buy the most expensive tickets. I would not sit too close to the stage. I was in the very last row and the seat was fine- I could see everything. The theater is small and in the round. If you wait until you get there you may find no tickets left.
Don%26#39;t wait, buy well in advance, and buy directly through the website of the Mirage Hotel.
if you are planning to go to Love buy balcony seats as they are absolutely terrific view seats for less money, in fact when I called the Mirage and booked our tix for last March, the sales person told me those are the seats she always purchaes for out of town guests when they come ot visit. We did have first row in the balcony but I would think anywhere from the first row halfway up would be very good seats.
It%26#39;s all a case of supply and demand with CdS. Each of their Vegas shows sells out or comes close to it ten times per week. Do you blame them for having ticket prices that a lot of people are happy to pay? However as others have said, the cheaper tickets are invariably fine and, in some cases, better than the most expensive ones. Buy LOVE tickets from the Mirage box office as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. They go on sale about four months in advance. Calling the box office is a better option than buying online as you%26#39;ll get your choice of all the available seats and get to speak to somebody who%26#39;ll give good advice about what are good seats or otherwise.
Helicopter trips from Vegas go the ';West Rim'; of Grand Canyon. If you%26#39;ve never seen canyon scenery you%26#39;ll probably be impressed but compared to the South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park it%26#39;s pretty insignificant. Please don%26#39;t travel all the way from Scotland and go to the ';West Rim';. South Rim is Grand Canyon as you should see it. Grand Canyon is one of the world%26#39;s great natural wonders and needs to be seen, appreciated and enjoyed at its best. Too many people look upon it just as something to be checked off a list of things to see whilst in Vegas like a Cirque show or the Bellagio fountains. The only way to truly do this is to stay overnight at South Rim.
If you don%26#39;t have the time to do this then you can take a day trip to South Rim from Vegas by fixed wing aircraft. I%26#39;m sure others will recommend companies that offer this.
gramsclp, do you mean 300 level seats or 200 level seats? Just curious.
LoveMD - if I remember correctly we had 300 seats, I am thinking like 305 A and B or something like that, but that was a few months ago and memory is not my strong point anymore,LOL!
Thanks everyone, very helpful, especially considering my typo, wasnt really looking to see Beatles shoes! Im only there for four nights so dont think il have time to have a full day to go to the south rim. I know what you mean though, id hate to be underwhelmed seeing one of the natural wonders of the world!
