Stay at Caesar%26#39;s for shopping. The Forum shops have everything. Bellagio is right next door is one of my favorites. I love the atmosphere, the gambling, the staff. Just a really great place.

The Venetian is my girlfriend%26#39;s favorite. The standard room (they call a suite because of the sunken living area) are the biggest in Vegas. Plenty of shopping there as well. It%26#39;s a HUGE complex though. So, unless you get a room near the elevator, you could be walking for a while to get there.

The Wynn is probably the nicest and most expensive. There%26#39;s not much shopping there and you can%26#39;t just sit down at a bar and have a burger. I felt like every time I wanted a snack, I paid $50 for it.

TheHotel is great. Mandalay has an awesome pool and there are shops underground. There are tons of great restaurants at the Mandalay... really top notch. The problem is the proximity to the Caesars. It%26#39;s at the South end of the strip and away from everything toward the middle of the strip.

If you%26#39;re going to a wedding at Caesars then I agree, stay there. It%26#39;s got everything you%26#39;re looking for in a great location on the Strip.

If you want ';luxury'; then make sure you make a reservation for Augustus Tower.

Of the hotels you listed, Palazzo is in a good location and it is new, rooms are beautiful. Wynn is gorgeous and very up market. However, like blagger said, if the wedding is at Caesars and you can afford either an Augustus or Palace Tower room, stay there. Either that or stay at Bellagio right across the street, it%26#39;s beautiful. Most of the good shopping is in the Forum Shops (between Caesars and Mirage) or Fashion Show Mall which is within walking distance. There are high end shops in Bellagio, Wynn, Palazzo and Venetian with wonderful shops.

I would not consider the Palms condo or Thehotel.

While both are decent they are not convenient.

Caesars would be my choice here considering your wants, or the Bellagio.

Venetian and Wynn are great top choice Hotels also but I still think Caesars serves your purpose better.

The Palazzo I have not stayed at but Im getting the impression its not a very lively place more subdued and laid back.

does it seem like bellagio is aging a little? Anyone stay at the palazzo to compare rooms? Caesars rooms are too high now (over a thousand a night)...seems like wynn is nicer but maybe boring?

Ok, you got my attenction. Over $1000 per night! I certainly wouldn%26#39;t pay that either. Which suites were you looking at?

Like the others I agree that Caesar%26#39;s would seem to meet your needs. But if that is not possible, Bellagio is close by.

dldorset, yes the B is aging. Caesar%26#39;s has a variety of room types and is a fun place attached to the Forum Shops. The Wynn and the Venetian both have shopping on their properties. How about the Wynn? Do you like to shop at Chanel etc?? :)

I have never found the Wynn to be boring. Some of the best places to dine. Tryst is a great club. I like parasol up/down for people watching. Lovely row of shops. Can%26#39;t keep my husband out of Brioni. And Fashion Show is just across the street.

I never really understand the location thing. The strip is really not that big and cabs are cheap. If the rate at Wynn suits you than I would take that.

I am not a huge shopper but will be happy to leave with a few bags of goodies. more into spas and nightlife.

the rooms at caesars were the basic rooms for a grand.

I%26#39;d choose the Palazzo .. I just turned 31. so I%26#39;m in the same age bracket ...it looks fabulous, and ther eis a mall in the Venetian, there are clubs there and it%26#39;s close to Caesars. Lol I drool at the thought of staying there!
