Sushi recommendations?

My husband and I are going to be in Las Vegas next weekend and are looking for a sushi restaurant for Friday night (Sept. 26). We are eating at Prime on Saturday night, so we don%26#39;t want to spend a fortune; however, we would like to eat somewhere with good food and a fun atmosphere. We are staying at the Bellagio, so we would like to find a restaurant within walking distance. Any suggestions?

Bellagio has a sushi place - but haven%26#39;t been there, though I%26#39;ve heard good things.

Sushi Roku is over at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Definitely good food and the atmosphere is a little more trendy and fun that most sushi joints.

Okada at Wynn

fab sushi, great restaurant in one of the best hotels

Yellowtail is the sushi restaurant at Bellagio and I really enjoyed it- the tuna there was fantastic. If you enjoy sake, the sommelier there is great and can help you find a good one that compliments your meal. If you want a change of scenery, however, Okada is over at Wynn and gets high marks from many sushi fans on this site. It can be pricey though. The Social House over at TI is a little more reasonably priced but I can%26#39;t vouch for the food there.

I have found overall that Las Vegas is not the town to get sushi in. Every place I have tried (Okada being one of them) I was disappointed with the selection compared to what I get at home. I may be the only one here that thinks this but I would not recommend getting sushi in Las Vegas if you are a regular sushi eater. Las Vegas is good at one thing, MEAT.

So Maldon, just what is the specialty you get at home that Okada didn%26#39;t have?

Don%26#39;t go to the sushi restaurant in Bellagio (Yellow Tail), it%26#39;s a rip-off!!
