Does anyone know the approx fare for a cab from Treasure Island to Fremont St? Also, how many miles is that trip? Thanks!

Just got back from vegas today! You%26#39;d be looking at 3-4 miles I would say.

Cab fare is around $5 for first mile and then $2.50 per mile after that so looking at about $15 with tip. Instead, take the Deuce bus - it%26#39;s much cheaper and runs regularly from TI.

Instead of the Deuce, it will be quicker and cheaper to take the 116 bus, which you can catch at the bus shelter right outside the entrance to Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show Mall, which is right next door to TI- it is only $1.25, but more importantly , is not nearly as crowded and gets to Fremont more quickly as it runs along a street parrallel to the Strip that has much less traffic.

You might ask the driver to be sure you get off at the correct stop , which I am a bit fuzzy about- I think it is just around the corner from Fremont St- I wasn%26#39;t paying attention and just sort of followed everyone else.

That is a good option too but I found it didn%26#39;t seem to run as regular later on in the evening as the Deuce.

Personally speaking most things are preferable to the Deuce. If your budget doesn%26#39;t stretch to a cab and you must take the bus then do as Lulu suggested and take the 116.
