What are my chances?

My husband and I (30%26amp;29) are going to Vegas the weekend before Thanksgiving. This is our fourth trip and we have never been to an actual club. I%26#39;d really like to do this one time just to take it all in. We are prepared to dress up and look the part (we frequent the clubs in our area). We%26#39;re not prepared to shell out hundreds of dollars to guarantee we get in. Any one have any tips that would help us out? I really don%26#39;t care which club it is, I%26#39;ve just never been to something of the caliber before and want to take it in once.

Thank you for any advice!

What are my chances?

If you don%26#39;t mind waiting in line (sometimes over an hour), then it won%26#39;t cost you that much to get in. I think the popular clubs (Tao at Venetian and Pure at C. Palace) are only $30 cover charge. Then of course you pay for your drinks which aren%26#39;t cheap ($12 - $20 average). I recently went to Mix at the top of Mandalay Bay, which is only $25 to get in. It%26#39;s a very small club, but they have a nice size dance floor and an awesome outside view of the strip from the 64th floor.

Another bit of advice. Go EARLY! Lots of the clubs open a lot earlier than their peak crowds arrive. Get there when they open and you might have an easier time.

You got some good suggestions but here is one more, Eat at the VooDoo Steak %26amp; lounge at Rio the food is good %26amp; reasonable, then you get a Free Pass to go to the VooDoo Lounge, the music is great %26amp; spectacular view of the strip so you get 3 in 1. Here is the website to check it out, restaurant, lounge, view.

on top click on LV then Hotel RIO, then dining or nightlife to see if it meets your criteria for the club scene. Also you could check out Risqué at Paris very fun place %26amp; lines aren%26#39;t that long there also can be check out on Harrah%26#39;s website.

moon/playboy club at the palms is nice, you can use this site to put yourself on the guestlist. it%26#39;ll be perfect for your age group. women shouldn%26#39;t have to pay cover if they%26#39;re on this list but your husband will probably have to pay $35.

also, if you%26#39;re staying at the hotel where a major club is, use the conceirge to have them put you on the guestlist or give you passes. as it is just your husband and yourself, you shouldn%26#39;t have a hard time getting in. for a quick reference of the major clubs %26amp; the hotels they%26#39;re located - venetian has tao, caesars has pure, wynn has tryst, planet hollywood has prive and mirage has jet. see jackcolton.com for more info.

also, the time you%26#39;re going to vegas is traditionally a little slower which will also help clubwise.
