Luxury vs. Deluxe Rooms at Harrah's

I%26#39;m looking for some insights on the Luxury vs. Deluxe rooms at Harrah%26#39;s.

Last time we were in Vegas (circa Aug 2007), we stayed at Harrah%26#39;s in a newly renovated room that had an LCD TV in the bathroom and was newly remodeled. It was overlooking the Carnival Court which was less than ideal due to a small noise issue, but we were overall very happy with it. I can%26#39;t remember which this was, though...

Any thoughts on the rooms is appreciated... as well as an update as to if all rooms are now updated.

Thanks!!

The only difference is that ';luxury'; is a room with a view. Rooms are assigned upon check-in, and so it is based upon availability. It sounds as if you were in the Mardi Gras Tower on your last trip. If you want to be away from the noise late at night coming from the Carnaval Court, I would request a room in the Carnaval Tower. (Oddly enough, that tower is farther away rather than closer to Carnaval Court) They are very nice rooms. I would request a room on a higher floor. We stayed there last year and will be going back in 3 weeks. We loved it. Good Luck!!

Any idea which of these rooms are newly renovated? Was the Mardi Gras tower the first to get redone?

Is the Carnaval Tower now redone with LCD%26#39;s, etc?

*bump*

We stayed in the Carnival tower last October. It was a renovated room. The only noise issues came from the guests in the next room and this was handled promptly by security.

The room was clean and the bed was wonderful. We requested a coffee maker when we made the reservation and it was there when we checked in.

VegasSue is correct, Luxury is with a view.

Mardi Gras rooms are a little bigger, but some of the rooms have noise issues.

Carnaval Tower are away from the noise so it%26#39;s a little more quiet.

You can check it out on Harrah%26#39;s website
