New Years Eve

What are the best clubs for New Years Eve and are they worth the cost? Is it just as much fun to stay at the casino and gamble? Is New Years in Vegas worth it.

I know nightclubs around here charge less $ after the clock strikes midnight. Is that the case with Las Vegas clubs, or is it a situation where you are better off buying your ticket in advance.

New Years Eve

It%26#39;s more a case of which club you can actually get into as some are invitation only. Definitely buy tickets in advance.

';are they worth the cost?'; ';Is New Years in Vegas worth it.'; To me personally it%26#39;s no to both questions as I can have two trips at other times of the year which I%26#39;d find more enjoyable for what New Year%26#39;s would cost. Thousands would however disagree.

New Years Eve

I see. I guess I am wondering would I have just as much fun on the streets and casinos as I would going to a club... Do people stand outside like in NYC? Although standing still isn%26#39;t appealing to me either. I love to go dancing.

Do people stand outside? Oh,do they ever! The strip (and some access ramps) are closed to traffic in the late afternoon. The strip starts filling up until it is wall to wall people. Think NYE at Times Square. At some points it will be difficult to move independently- you go where the crowd pushes you. Some of the hotels will have a fireworks display at midnight( athough plans are on hold right now because of safety issues after the Monte Carlo fire). It may be some time before you will be able to get back to your hotel if you are far away from it. I really don%26#39;t know anything about the clubs.

I stayed on the strip on NYE once because I wanted to see what it was like. I don%26#39;t regret it but I wouldn%26#39;t do it again.
