Vegas Club

Can Anyone Tell Me: Is The Vegas Club a Good Place To Stay?

Also: Is The Fremontm Street Experience Worth The Time And Effort To Visit?

Thanks Rick S.

Vegas Club

I don%26#39;t know how the Vegas Club is as a hotel -- I%26#39;ve never been in their rooms.

But downtown Vegas is a fun place. I prefer it to the Strip. Lots of casinos in easy walking distance, so you can stroll from one to the next without any problem. Lower table limits, and more of a party atmosphere. So yes, the Fremont Street Experience is worth the time and effort.

Vegas Club

Vegas Club is at the low end for downtown.

Stay at Golden Nugget.

It is worth every penny it costs.

4 star hotel at a 2 star price.

Stay there once and you will never consider staying at any other downtown Vegas hotel I promise you.

Fremont Exp. is not to be missed. Very coool!! Casinos are close to each other with easy access. Most things, food, drinks, are cheaper than on the strip. I cant comment on the VC rooms, but I have noticed some rates under $20 a night on Expedia and Vegas.com Check sites other than the VC site if you decide to stay here. But YES it is worth time and effort to see.

The Vegas Club is ok if you are not looking for anything spectacular. We stayed in a north tower room in May. The room was huge. There were 2 queen size beds (I think they were queen size), a table with 2 chairs, iron and ironing board, and bureau and nightstand. I originally booked the north tower deluxe, but they did not have any available. I just had them bring a coffee pot and refrigerator to the room. The only thing I did not like was that you had to walk through the back casino to get to the elevators and it was kind of dark back there. I honestly don%26#39;t think I would stay there again. I like Fitzgerald%26#39;s much better.

I have never stayed there, but I love downtown. Many casinos in a short walk, makes it easy to hop from one to the other. Live bands, light show and low limits on the table games, what more could you want?

Stayed at the Vegas Club/Plaza about 3 years ago, and would not recommend either...I stay at El Cortez, Fitzgeralds, or 4 Queens downtown...There%26#39;s a reason why The VC is 20 dollars a night...The Fremont Experience is good for the first couple times, but more enjoyable are the numerous bands playing most nights under the canopy...

As everybody mentioned, Downtown is great, but they didn%26#39;t mention probably the best thing about it.....it%26#39;s a LOT, LOT less crowded/congested than the Strip!! I stayed at Vegas Club years ago and it was OK. If you don%26#39;t mind walking a block, the Main St. and California are great places to stay! And of course, the Nugget.

Thanks to all for the input. It will help a lot.
