Caesars Diamond Lounge

Any info on what kind of food is available in the diamond lounge at Caesars? I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s been scaled back greatly, just wanted to see what I could find out before my trip.

Caesars Diamond Lounge

During Labor Day they had wings, sandwiches, chips, lots of deserts, %26amp; some other things I can%26#39;t remember, I wasn%26#39;t there for the food.

Caesars Diamond Lounge

Dont expect a free meal. LV is nothing like AC in the Diamond Lounges. They are there for a free drink and a few apps/ Nothing more.

If you are a big enough player, you will eat for free at any restauarnt you want with your comp points you bring, or earn on this trip. Also use your host to get free meals, again based on your play.

Otherwise if you are a low level Diamond from other cities and dont expect to play alot in LV, you are out of luck planning on free food at the DL.

Hey Jagwood!!

The info on the Caesar%26#39;s lounge is correct. Last year we only saw wings and small sandwiches and that was only at certain times of the day. I always seemed to get there when they just had cheese and fruit!!

You should check out the Diamond Lounge at Paris if you%26#39;re there, though. I actually preferred it to Caesar%26#39;s. They were much friendlier and had just as good of offerings. They almost always had out really excellent little desserts and bottles of water on ice that you could just pick up yourself.

Jagwood. The information here is correct. The DL at Paris is better than Ceasar%26#39;s. Rio%26#39;s is good for breakfast, however it has been over a year since I was there and I believe they have changed their hours of operation, so they may not offer breakfast anymore.

Does anyone know if you can still take a guest or two with you into a Diamond Lounge? I know you used to be able to, just wondering if that has changed.

Thanks

You can still take in one guest to the Diamond Lounge. As far as hours of operation I believe all LV lounges are now S-Th 4pm-9pm and F-Sat. 12pm-9pm. Breakfast is no longer served. Most of the other items have been cut also. Now what you will find is some chips, pretzels, nuts along with some dips and a few desserts. Rio had some carrots and celery added. Between 4-6 Harrah%26#39;s and CP serve some chicken wings. Not sure if the others have wings or something else. Everything has been scaled back since April %26#39;08.

Double Diamond is correcton on the hours. I was in Vegas last week and went to the Diamond lounges at Paris, Caesars, and Harrahs. They all had EXACTLY the same things: Spicy chicken wings, a selections of rolls and bread, Crab Rangoon (a fried thing kind of like a won-ton filled with crab with spicey sauce), corn chips, maui style potato chips, salsa, guacamole, a selection of nuts, and soup. I never saw any sandwiches or sushi either.

You used to be able to get your drink in a ';to go'; paper cup when you left but you can no longer take your drink out of the lounge unless it is closing time.

Just more ';benefits'; of the new and unimproved Harrahs Entertainment!!

What a shame that these DLs have been cut back so much. It%26#39;s very different in Atlantic City. I was there for 4 days in May, and the only food I bought was one ice cream cone. We ate every lunch and dinner at a different DL, and although the food was the same at each DL during the day, there was a new menu the next day. With a variety of hot and cold items, it was very good, for %26#39;free%26#39; food...(actually it was really free for me, as my parents%26#39; are the Diamond Club members, so they had spent/lost the money to become a member, but I was just a guest.):)

Considering these are the same hotels, both in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, I%26#39;m not sure why the standards are so different in each city. I suspect they need further enticements to get people to Atlantic City...whereas everyone already does readily to LV.
