Zumanity

I am looking for some reviews of this show. We are thinking about going next saturday night.

Zumanity

We went a couple years ago. Enjoyed it but didn%26#39;t think it was as good as the other Cirque du Soleil shows. We enjoyed Mystere and KA much more. We did like the theatre as we had a comfy booth for seating.

Zumanity

I saw it about 3 years ago and I liked it better than the other shows, simply because it was sexual. You should be open-minded, however. There is something for every fetish, including gay, self-pleasure, group. It is a good one to go to with a significant other, but I am not sure I would enjoy it so much with anyone else. It could be awkward.

But, I%26#39;m just going off of what I remember. That was a few years ago... And I%26#39;m sure I had some drinks in me...

I went a few years ago and really loved Zumanity. It is more of a cabaret/burlesque show than a typical Cirque show, which is partly why I enjoyed it so much. It is totally different than anything else that Cirque is doing right now. Yes, there are some cheesey parts, but that is part of the fun! You have to be fairly comfortable with your sexuality to really enjoy the show. I say, ';Go for it!';

My husband and I really liked it and would recommend it to open minded couples. It was much better than KA in our opinion.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the show - have a few cocktails beforehand and make sure to stop by gift shop for some things before you leave (body chocolate and edible body oil anyone??)

Have fun!

Zumanity is defintiely not your typical Cirque show, but I definitely enjoyed it. A good way of describing it might be %26#39;Rocky Horror%26#39; meets Cirque... but with less of a continuous story but more like a series of linked vingettes around the common theme of sexuality.

That said... if you%26#39;re considering Zumanity I highly reccomend checking out Bite at the Stratosphere either instead or in additon to seeing Zumanity. I wasn%26#39;t expecting much of Bite... but at the urging of several my friends who said it was defintiely my style a show I checked it out and was quite pleasently surprised.

One of the other things in favor of Bite is it isn%26#39;t theater style seating, but rather club style seating where you sit at a table and watch the show, and can order drinks throughout!

I%26#39;ve seen all 5 Cirque shows and Zumanity is easily my least favorite. I didn%26#39;t find it sexy, I found it more silly than anything. The other Cirque shows are so much better that it%26#39;s hard to recommend it. It was the first Cirque show I saw, the sexual element is what appealed to me and I thought it would be the perfect Vegas show, I also saw Crazy Horse (La Femme at the time) that same trip and liked it much better as did my husband. Now that I%26#39;ve seen the other Cirque shows I%26#39;m amazed that Zumanity is still showing.

I so much agree with JackandSally. We%26#39;ve seen many Cirque shows and Zumanity was our least favourite. I%26#39;m not a prude, but anyone can talk about sex on a stage. If you like more talent then don%26#39;t go to this show. We like a big stage show like KA.

I saw Zumanity 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. I have seen 6 different CDS (including traveling ones as well as Vegas)and thought this was one of the better ones. For the pre-show entertainment, they had some very fat women go through the seats with chocolate covered strawberries and sat on some guys laps! Very funny. I do think it is more for couples though. Entertainment for both the men and women, since there was some beefcake guy in part of the show. I think it is worth the time to see it.

I saw it on my only trip to Vegas in 2004, the gf and I loved it. I%26#39;ve seen other CDS shows and liked this one just as much but it is %26#39;different%26#39;. Show starts as soon as you enter the venue...check out the green dude crawling up and down the walls, amazing and surreal, and the 2 large ladies going up and down the seat rows, with bottom or bosoms thrust in male audience members%26#39; faces....because the show proper hasn%26#39;t started, the awkwardness this induces in some men is very funny.
