Las Vegas & New York combined holiday?!?!?

Hi all,

I%26#39;ve been searching the internet for a Las Vegas %26amp; New York holiday with maybe a week beach holiday in between.

I know they are around but I can%26#39;t find them.

Any ideas where I can find a selection on the net?

Cheers

Las Vegas %26amp; New York combined holiday?!?!?

Hi

If you want diy, as I do, then you could try what I just did. I just tried kayak and got what I was looking for. I did a transatlantic flight open jaw by putting in on BA website on multi cities. Fly into Atlanta, fly out LA. Then used Kayaka to show me who would do the internal flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas, which was Delta.

You need to decied who is flying into where you want to go then try the multi city option on the booking page, as long as it is a hub, the price should be reasonable, choose a minor city and you will either get rejected (do not fly there) or an enormous flight price.

We always do this (flying from Dublin though). We use Continental- there is an option to do a ';multi city'; booking.

Dublin- Newark. Newark- Las Vegas. Las Vegas- Dublin.

I find DIY works very well and is reasonbable plus there is more room for movement. However if you want the convenience of a ';package'; I have got quotes from Trailfinders before- match closely enough our DIY prices. The only thing being they go for more expensive hotels (obviously, because they wouldnt recommend where the cheapo places we stay!) in both NY and LV.

You could try: UK- New York. New York- Las Vegas. Las Vegas- Los Angeles (Only a 1 hour flight-reat beaches), then LA staight back to UK (could be a direct flight or you may have to change somewhere Atlanta/Chicago/NY).

Hope you find what you are looking for!

Hi

We have flown Continental in the past and had a free stopover at Houston but of course if you choose the New York route you should be able to stay there on a stopover for free. To get the free stopover, do not use the multi city option just the return flight, choose the route %26amp; flight you want then phone them and ask for a stopover at wherever you have picked. You are allowed one in each direction as long as it is a hub.

Your best bet is DIY.

U.K -NYC-L.A (BEACH)-Vegas-U.K.

Book flights yourself, book hotel in Vegas direct ,and use someone like Quikbook for hotels in NYC and LA.

With Quikbook, you book and pay nothing until you check out ,so if you find a better deal in the meantime, you can cancel with no loss.

Hi, if you dont want to d.i.y Virgin holidays do a tailor-made, where you just pick the hotels from their brochure and they put the package together for you. I%26#39;m sure its cheaper to d.i.y though.

hi gregster

next year we are doing 7 nights vegas and 7 nights new york

i am planning a diy holiday myself and booking and doing evrything myself.

you can do multi city flights with virgin.

you could fly gatwick- vegas

jfk- heathrow cheaper to put the return flight this way.

and do your america flights seperate with vrigin america.

where are planning for a beach ? you could drive to la and go santa monica.

i would do your flight sep and hotels sep and not book as package.

if you need any help just email me.

I can recommend Trailfinders. You can book as much or as little as you want with them They have lots of options for flights and can book more hotels than are in their brochure. If you want their flights, but want to find some or all of your own accommodation, that%26#39;s fine as you are not booking a package just individual elements.
