Pls help me w/trip next week (9/25-28, Venetian)...

The previous poster did list some good restaurants and some of those are good, but not great and some are so, so.

Some restaurants are booked full in advance, some aren%26#39;t, you won%26#39;t know unless you try. If you do have problems, ask the concierge at your hotel to help, it%26#39;s part of their job to help their guests with things like reservations.

I%26#39;m thinking you want a variety of restaurant types, from hip to elegant and maybe nice, casual as well.

Fix at Bellagio is very good, great food and good vibe. Have drinks before hand at the Baccarat bar and people watch.

Alize at the Palms is an excellent restaurant and wonderful views of Vegas and the strip.

Mix at Mandalay Bay is a great place to go for drinks and enjoy the view, also a good place for dinner.

Mesa Grill at Caesar%26#39;s is a Bobby Flay restaurant and quite good.

Olives at Bellagio is another great place to dine, upscale casual and food is very, very good.

For elegant dining, I always like Picasso or Prime at Bellagio.

You won%26#39;t feel like AARP reps at Tao or anywhere else, you will find people of a variety of ages in places like that. True, you get a lot of the 20 something crowd, but you are there to have fun, there are no %26#39;rules%26#39; in Vegas, do what you and your friends want to do.

1. price range will help. At The V/P complex some great dining. Bouchon should not be missed - breakfast is one of the best in town. Delmonico for steak.

Away from your hotel Rosemeary%26#39;s (20 min off strip), Alize, Alex some of our favs.

2. some pools get shade - between all the pools you have many choices. The pool next to Bouchon is a small, quiet area if you want to relax.

3. On certain nights it is ';all that';. How you will ';feel'; about anything no one knows.

Both V and P have nice lounges with live music.

Fontana lounge at Bellagio may also have some - ask your concierge to check the schedule.
