New York New York

Staying at the New York New York for 4 nights, any tips or advice....hotel? food? nightlife? First timer to Vegas!

New York New York

we ahd breakfats in a place in there called america

was nice would recommend that

New York New York

would also recomment the America restaurant for Dinner big choice good value and good service

the roller coaster is great!

america open all night- great for food after long gambling sesh. big apple bar was good for us too

We always make sure that we have dinner at Nine Fine Irishmen when we are in Las Vegas. Good food, fun atmosphere.

NYNY is a crazy, crowded, loud, fun place. MGM across the street is much more sedate. You just move around Vegas until you find the casino that you feel most comfortable in. That%26#39;s the fun of it. You don%26#39;t have to like the food or nightlife in your hotel. Check them all out. Go to Luxor and it%26#39;s hoochie mama headquarters. Trop across the street is a lower roller smoky dump. It%26#39;s fun. First time to Vegas check out as many of the casinos as you can.

I was in Vegas the 31st-5th and was booked at NYNY the 3rd-5th, but did not end up staying! The casino is all torn apart and they are jackhammering.I couldn%26#39;t take the noise so I went over to MGM to play. I have stayed there many times before an always enjoyed it. The room was OK,a bit on the small side, but I had overlapped my stay and was already at the Palazzo, so I ended up staying there the whole trip.

I hope you do not run into the same problem...I don%26#39;t know how long this construction is going to be going on, but it didn%26#39;t look like it was near completion. They have taken out the trees and some walkways and moved the players club and cashier to the far wall, and they have added these strange lights above the tables. Good luck, I%26#39;m sure you can still have fun!

The Il Fornaio- bakery near America America has really good Cranberry Muffins, plenty big for breakfast, perfect with a free cup of coffee from the Four Seasons.

If you want a great steak and/or lobster, go to Gallaghers. You will want to make a reservation, but can do so while you are there. You can go online and see the menus to most of the restaurants.

When you get into the taxi from the airport, grab one of those little booklets about Vegas (you can%26#39;t miss them). They list the attractions and restaurants by category and are a handy little thing. It also has a map of the strip inside.

Make sure to ask for a room away from the noise of the roller coaster. (I%26#39;ve never had that problem, but I have heard from other people). And fyi- if your room is at the end of the hallway, the elevators are a looong walk away! (That could have been designed better).

The pretzels at the little stand are good- I make a special trip there just for the pretzel ';sticks'; with cheese dip. The slushies outside Coyote Ugly are tasty but they don%26#39;t seem to have much alcohol in them. You can have them add another shot, or you can just add your own shooter of whatever you want. I%26#39;m convinced Coyote Ugly waters down their alcohol, but that%26#39;s just me.

If you want to go to Coyote Ugly at night, when it becomes a semi-crowded dance club, get a stamp earlier in the day to avoid a cover charge later. Don%26#39;t pay money to get in; I guarantee you won%26#39;t be in there for very long, anyway. The club is basically a bunch of guys standing around watching the drunk girls dancing on the stage for the free watered down shots they give out. Loud music with an even louder hot girl with a microphone.

America%26#39;s has good breakfast and the bloody marys are quite tasty. The mexican restaurant is only good if you don%26#39;t know what good mexican food tastes like. But the margaritas are great, and after one of those, you won%26#39;t care about the food.

I like gambling at NYNY. The people working there are very personable.
