VIP List for clubs

My friend is a high roller in vegas and gave me the name/number of his hostess. I spoke with her and she has put me on the VIP list for Pure, Tao, Vodoo Lounge and Rain the 4 nights that Im in Vegas. Will I just be able to walk up and go in, or will it still be a hassle to get into the clubs. I didn%26#39;t ask her because I didn%26#39;t want her to realize I don%26#39;t know what the heck im doing.

VIP List for clubs

Ok, here%26#39;s my looong answer:

You will probably have to wait still, but not as long. What the clubs usually do is have a separate line for the guest list. But, just walk up to someone who looks like they work there and ask them where to go. You are not going to look stupid unless you pop your collar and act like you are special because you are on the list. Fyi- the list can be VERY long, depending on the night. You may get lucky and they will let you right in, but most likely they will tell you which line to get in.

Ok, so you found the line. This line will consist of parties that have reserved tables or rooms, friends of club employees, special guests, girls that schmoozed a bouncer or host, and people who have the hookup, like you.

They will rotate people in this line with the ';single girls'; line (usually), because clubs like to have a lot of women inside. If the host is any good at his/her job, you will be in in no time. This is all based on a crowded entry area at about the time they open.

One thing to keep in mind, is sometimes the guest list is only open until a certain time. I was on the list for JET but I didn%26#39;t know they closed the list at midnight, and I got there right after she roped it off. She didn%26#39;t care that I was on the list, or who I knew, and she walked away from me. Luckily, I found a bouncer who let me in.

This is just my experience, but you know what? I think you should just call the hostess back and ask her. This is what she does, and she is not going to laugh at you. If anything, she will appreciate a person who is personable, and not a stuffy high-roller like most. (not all, just most)

If you really don%26#39;t want to ask, you can call the club. You will be anonymous, so ask all the questions you want. Otherwise, just show up and speak with the person that has the clipboard. :)
