Has anyone heard of or visited either of these places? In just a casual review of them in a Vegas guide they caught our attention.
Thoughts?
Hofbrauhaus and Double Down Saloon
Hofbrauhaus is across from the Hard Rock, it%26#39;s a great place to go with a group.
The Double Down is more of a locals hangout, but it%26#39;s a fun little bar.

We were just at both a few weeks ago. Hofbrauhaus is pretty nice %26amp; can get really rowdy at night. There%26#39;s a huge beergarden with live entertainment %26amp; constant drinking games, so it%26#39;s very lively if there are lots of people there.
Double Down really is a dark, scary place. I was excited to go, thinking it was just ';eclectic'; on purpose, but no, it%26#39;s just a dive. There was a prostitute there when we were there %26amp; there were blood stains on the pool table. I%26#39;m not giving it a bad review, because I didn%26#39;t feel uncomfortable or anything. The drink prices are very cheap %26amp; the jukebox is awesome. Maybe if you go at night when a band is playing, it%26#39;ll be a little different.
Been to Hofbrauhaus thought it was overpriced and overated.
Double Down was just added to my list of places to go :0)
I have been to Hofbrauhaus a couple of times.
Once during the day just to have a couple liters. The beer is really good and it was pretty quite. They have a bar just outside the ';hall'; portion that is a lot quieter. The food looked pretty good but we never ate there. The soft pretzels are huge!
At night it gets quite rowdy. We went there with people that were out for our wedding and it was a great time. They have a girl going around that will paddle people and she does not hold back on the guys!! Since I was the groom I got hit twice and I had a nice bruise on my a$$ the next day. Luckily the Jager shots that she gave me afterwards helped ;)
