I’m thinking of having my wedding reception at Maggianos, has anyone had or attended a wedding reception here if so what was it like, do you have any pictures?????

I have eaten there and food is very good as well as the decor. Most would not know this is a chain restaurant.

Yes, the food and service is excellent, haven%26#39;t been to a wedding there, but good luck! I do know they are quite used to doing weddings and events.

we are booked there for a reception in the smaller room for mid April. 15 of us going.

We like the idea of having a fixed price, and the staff have been absolutely fantastic! And the menu is brilliant.

Do you know what other size rooms they have and can you still have the wedding package without the room i.e. in the restaurant??

I don%26#39;t ';think'; they do the set menu in the main restaurant.

How many have you got going and have you got a shortlist of other restaurants as I bet I went through the same as you now!

There are minimum spends for some rooms and room hire for other rooms at Maggiano%26#39;s. It is quite easy to work out (in the end).

BTW the wedding package has an open bar, champagne toast and a wedding cake all included in the price!

My sister is having her reception there on 5th April.

Staff have been so helpful - answered all her questions and even gone that extra mile on somethings to accomodate her requests.

She is having the package that includes the 4hr bar service - they are providing a dance floor and sound system - we just provide the I pod.

I will be back 8 April and will email you pics etc....

never been to a wedding reception there, but i have been to a few company dinners. the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is fun but upscale, and the service weas great.

Thanks for all your help, im still not sure on exact numbers but it will prob be around 20+. My main concern is that ill have to pay a charge because the room is not full to capacity. I suppose ill just have to wait until i get the final numbers back before i look into it more!

Hi Stoz,

if you are looking about 20 then you will not have to pay a room cover. The smaller room is the only room you have to pay a room cover for. However you will have to meet a minimum for the room, but we found that if you have more than 17 people then you will meet the minimum, especially if you are having a wedding package.

Thanks so much for all your help, that has made me feel a lot better now!! It looks like such a good deal I would be gutted if we couldn’t have it there because of the room minim.
