Is there anywhere to access the internet near downtown? I do not have a laptop. I am taking an online class this semester, and if it is convenient, I will do a little work (vey minimal) for that class while in Las Vegas. Thanks.
Internet Access Downtown
There are places in the Golden Nugget and Four Queens lobbies where you can insert a credit card to use a computer- the Four Queens is cheaper at min. of $3 ( GN is $5 I think). Both are about 50 cents a minute I think and you can get a password and save leftover minutes on your account. We used $Q to print out boarding passes , and it was teh most reasonable we found after checking a few spots. The computer stations in GN are in South Tower lobby - Four Queens has one station across from teh registration desk - I have never seen it looking very busy. Also a few stations in gift shops and the like along Fremont where you pay at the register for time. But I have also heard that anyone visiting Las Vegas can easily get a library card at the public library and then can use a computer station there for free. I am not certain, but I think this is the closest library to Downtown- though hopefully a local will correct me if I%26#39;m wrong:

the public library has computer access. you can sign-up online for a time, or take a chance at a few of the FCFS.
bring your card from your home library and you can get a library card - allowing you to use the online res system.
