Laughlin for NEW YEARS 2009 - Help Grif

I will be visiting Laughlin from 29 Dec to 1 Jan. I am staying at the Tropicana Express. I was wondering if there is anything exciting happening for New Years Eve? Any special place to eat for that evening? Maybe brunch on the 1st? Any information would be great!

Thanks to all!

There will be lots going on, but a list of what is happening will not be announced for a while. Before we moved to Laughlin a few years ago, we spent a number of New Years Eves at the Trop (Ramada). They always had something going on. All of the restaurants will have some sort of special for dinner and nice New Years Day brunches are offered in numerous places. I will post all of the New Years happenings as soon as they are announced.

we were there last year but went to vegas for new year. My parents stayed local though

All the casinos had decorations up, giving out free stuff it was really nice. A number also had big gala parties going on with food and stuff. They had a great time

Thanks Grif! I will be returning from a 15 month deployment in Iraq. I can%26#39;t wait to sit back and have a ice cold Corona and play a couple hands of BlackJack! This will be my third trip to Laughlin, but the first time for New Years. Thanks again to all. Hope everyone is well. Matt

Will they have fireworks over the river?

I might just take the kids to the Riverside to go bowling for New Years, I know they might have something going on.

Thanks again to all!

Matt

We have not had New Years Eve fireworks in a few years.

Grif and all the other Laughlin loyal, I am so looking forward to my 4 day trip to Laughlin for New Years 2009. I booked online for the Tropicana for 154 dollars for three nights (Newer room with View). One week later I checked for rooms again and the prices are 219 per night over 700 dollars total!! Glad I booked when I did!!

All the prices are going up for all the hotels. Grif do all the hotel book full for New Years week?

Thanks again and you all take care!

The Trop is a great place to stay, and you will have one of the nicer rooms in any of our hotels.
