Most Reliable Shuttle Service

Who has the most reliable R/T Shuttle Service? I see alot of people complain about the shuttle to the airport not being there on time. 15 or 16 dollars each R/T beats paying 30 each way for a cab downtown.

Most Reliable Shuttle Service

Some hotels have regular pick-up times, so you may want to just buy a one-way Airport-Downtown fare and then hop on the first shuttle that turns up on your return trip and pay the driver in cash. The only possible downside to this would be if you%26#39;re trying to get on a shuttle without a reservation and they tell you they%26#39;re full.

Most Reliable Shuttle Service

I%26#39;ve used Coach/Grayline (to the strip not downtown though) twice without any delays or problems. I%26#39;m not a fan of the shuttles but if you have plenty of time and aren%26#39;t in a hurry then it definately is the most economical option.

Do you know, do you have to make a reservation for the shuttle or can you just pay for one at the airport?

Thx All. We took a shuttle to the GN last year and cabbed it back to the airport. The cab was over 30 bucks. Thats why I%26#39;m considering a R/T shuttle.

You can pay at the airport but have to call 24hrs in advance for return.

Here%26#39;s what I did last week...I don%26#39;t buy roundtrip tickets...I scheduled a shuttle for a certain time, then hopped on the first shuttle (actually a van) going to the airport...6 dollars...from Imperial Palace...

skip the R/T fare...schedule your return to the airport by calling a shuttle service 24 hrs prior to departure to secure a reservation to the airport...get to your shuttle pick up area at least 10-15 minutes prior to the pick-up time and if another shuttle company bus gets there first, ask the driver for the cost...add $2-3 tip and say ';Will this work?';

I have had real good luck with Bell Trans the last 7 trips. but, I learned one of their routes to the airport start at the TI, then to the mirage, caesars etc, so since the TI is first, they are usually on time. so if you take bell trans to the TI you might be nearly the last stop coming to the strip.

I do like the suggestion to pay one way, then schedule a pickup and grab the first shuttle that comes by. It would only cost you like a $1 more.

I think the big difference in shuttles is who is having a lot of turnover in drivers, and runs short of drivers the day you arrive. my last trip, the driver admitted he had only been working one week and he had just arrived from Jamaica. I wonder how he got a cdl that fast to be qualified to drive. he barely knew what driveways to use at the hotels or where to stop the shuttle at the hotels.

We took a shuttle once from the airport downtown and it took so-o-o-o long as they stopped at almost every hotel on the strip before going downtown. Husband wants to get to the hotel as soon as possible so we have been taking a cab.

The cost of the cab is not what troubles me the most. We have had our share of the ';longhauling'; cabbies and I am tiring of starting my vacation with their ';cheating'; ways. They do not even care if you know that they are taking the long way. I had to ask one how many times do you pass Las Vegas Blvd? I don%26#39;t want to hijack your post with my rant.

I have been looking at alternate ways also for our trip in a few weeks and found a poster stating that there is a shuttle dedicated to downtown only and maybe I will check this out when he is waiting for the luggage in lieu of the cab. It is going to be a hard sell to the hubby so I cannot even mention this to him. We always get to Las Vegas in the a.m. so it takes longer to fill a shuttle, so he will not want to be waiting inside a shuttle awaiting more people when cabs are leaving every minute. Good luck to you in your search.

We used executive shuttle a few weeks ago, we didnt know the one way trick so we bought round trip. Mirage was the second stop on the strip so we got there quickly, and they were on time on the return pickup. But given what I have read I think next time we will try the one way move and pay the return trip to the first shuttle there.
