Just wondering if casino%26#39;s offer any comps for poker tournament play? Ill be down to vegas for the first time playing in the Caesar Palace Classic probably a $500+50 buyin tournament. Just wondering if i cashed in say top 5 or 10 could i expect a comp or ask for one or what.

Comps for poker in Vegas are lousy to nonexistent. In a tournament, the house makes its money from you when you pay your registration fee, so they make the same whether you finish first or last. The casino therefore has nothing to gain from you by keeping you playing longer, as opposed to a cash game.

I just returned from Vegas. You get no comp points from tournaments. You get approximately $2 an hour for live pay. Some rooms give a little more.
