A friend told me that about 15 years ago he stayed at the Debbie Reynold Casino. I think I have a good sense of Vegas history, but I don%26#39;t remember that one. Does anyone know where it was? Thanks
Debbie Reynolds Casino?
I was in there a few times, it was a nothing place, It%26#39;s now the Greek Isles Casino on convention center drive.
Debbie Reynolds Casino?
It was on Convention Center Drive. It is now Greek Isles Casino. It was a tiny place with a tiny casino. It also housed her Movie Museum with costumes, etc. from Hollywood. It also had Brown Bag luncheons on Tuesdays.
We went past it a few time but i don%26#39;t remember if we ever went in the casino.
Thanks for the info. I learned something new.
I stayed there a many a year ago. We were in the Wizard of Oz room. It was a coin casino, right off the strip. When you walked out the door, if you went to your right you could go to the LV Hilton and on the way to the Hilton, there was a casino across the street....dang it, I can%26#39;t remember the name, it has since been torn down. It was tall, the body was skinny and it had like a space ship on the top....anybody remember the name of it?
Nessa, that would have been the Landmark. It went down in an impressive implosion, I think in the early 90%26#39;s.
Thanks for responding....that would have driven me crazy. That was an interesting looking casino. I bet back in the day...it was real cool.
Check out this link to see the implossion of The Landmark, and others. www.vegastodayandtomorrow.com/implode.htm Enjoy.
gad that brings back memories...i stayed there years ago and miss debbie herself would wander around making sure we were all having a good time..
