We are travelling to California in April, and will be spending a couple of days in Las Vegas. Last time we stayed there, it was at the Flamingo hotel (through the recommendation of fellow tripadvisor readers). Does this hotel still have the best pool for families, or has it gone down the ranks now? Our daughter is 13, so we just need a very nice pool with a family friendly atmosphere as we will be spending most of the day by the pool. Any help will be much appreciated.
Hotel with best pool for children?
If you want family friendly, do not go to the Flamingo. It has become the party central-spring break-Cancun in the desert-get drunk-be obnoxious center of Vegas.

It%26#39;s difficult to offer suggestions without any clue about your budget but MGM Grand would be a good choice for what you%26#39;re looking for.
MGM has a great pool and lazy river. Mandalay pool is my favorite but will be more expensive than MGM.
Probably Excalibur or circus circus.
No matter how Disneyworld, or corpotate Vegas gets, its still a wild adult place not intended for children. I understand that sometimes parents dont have a choice. But with all the great places to bring kids in this country, Vegas should be at the bottom of the list. No matter where you go, people are drinking heavily, gambling, and just getting crazy. Even at the ';family'; style places.
Hi
If you consider off strip I think you will find better places to stay with kids. I was thinking of Orleans, South Point or maybe a Station hotel. They have more going for them for the younder ones, pool cinema, arcades. Plus in general they are quieter properties.

Platinum Hotel and Spa. It is a small indoor/outdoor pool, that is perfect for children.
The pool at the Golden Nugget is way cool.
However I dont think it will be open in April. Water will be a tad bit cold.
Thank you everyone. Quite honestly, we are only staying for a couple of nights and are travelling a long way from England, so price is not an issue as long as it is not ridiculously expensive. We do not gamble, so you may think it strange that we are visiting Las Vegas, but we have been there twice before each time for a couple of days. Both times, my daughter and I have loved it...we basically stay by the pool all day, walk up and down the strip and enjoy all the lights at night, and eat at some lovely places, plus, there is shopping. Specially around Easter time, when the weather in California is not so warm, we really use this as a couple of days of warming up our bones and enjoying the sites. We always stick to the strip and only visit the main hotels, we also don%26#39;t venture out late at night. Thankfully, in our previous experiences, we have never come across any drunken people or any other inapropriate mishaps.
Flamingo and Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo has the ';wave pool'; and the lazy river pool. Mandalay Bay has a wave pool too.
Hi
I know I said off strip but after what you have just posted, I would go with the MGM. Great pool, staight onto the strip and for the price, very good rooms, use www.smartervegas.com for the best prices.
