i need hotel help!

I have booked a room at Planet Hollywood for november. But some of the reviews dont look to good. Thinking of changing to the Mirage or Venetian. Anyone ever stay at either??

Venetian would be the best choice, the rooms are lot nicer, lot larger, huge bathroom, high end amenities. Mirage has very small bathroom. Venetian is a 5 star as where Mirage a 3 star so no comparison.

Depends upon room rates at each place as these are three completely different class properties.

PH = 3 star

Mirage 4 star

Venetian 4+ star

If PH costs $125, Mirage is a better deal at $150 and Venetian is the best deal at $199.

Mirage and Venetian are better properties. Mirage is a 4 star, Venetian a 4+. If you can get the Venetian for close to the same price that would make it the best value for your money.

No, no - choose the Palazzo which is right next door to the Venetian. It is a brand new hotel (open 7 months), all rooms are suites and are amazing (5*), and I got cheaper rates than at the Ventian. The Palazzo I think maybe belongs to the Venetian anyway as they have common pool areas etc. Just come back from 10 days there myself tonight. The Palazzo is too new to be up there on the ratings on Trip Advisor yet but trust me, in 12 months it will be in the top 3.

Out of the three you mention I would chose the Ventian. Its the best of the 3 by far. As far as the Palazoo goes, I have never been because it is so new.. but it does look really nice and it is connected to the Venetian so I would look into it too.

the venetian is the nicest property of the 3 when taking rooms/amenities/overall ambiance into account. i do agree with the previous poster about booking the palazzo, but only if you can get it for the same price or cheaper than the venetian. however, it is also the most expensive of the 3 with ph %26amp; mirage usually being around the same price.

ok, that being said, a lot of this is going to depend on your age and what you like to do in vegas. i think if you%26#39;re under 30 and looking to experience more nightlife and party, then planet hollywood would be more appealing to you. they play great rock music throughout the hotel during the day and go to a more dance/techno in the evening. the gambling vibe is great, and its kind of like a mini-hard rock. the miracle mile shops also provide great convenience. but the rooms are pretty much standard and not as good as the other 2 hotels. whereas the venetian, and even the mirage casinos are not nearly as entertaining.

the venetian is a little stuffy, unless you play between 12 - 4 when the tao crowd is around. the mirage is a great hotel, but doesn%26#39;t really have anything that sets it apart from the other hotels.

i%26#39;m in my early 30%26#39;s and my personal order of preference is planet hollywood, venetian, then the mirage.

the Mirage was about the same price as PH. Venetian was around 209 a nite and palazzo at 240. So im thinking the venetian is about the best for the money.

Stayed at the Venetian last year and Palazzo this year. Rooms were practically the same. Palazzo was newer of course but they are both great rooms. For the difference go with the Venetian. You won%26#39;t be sorry. Very large with a seperate living room area with steps that lead down to it. Bathrooms are huge with double doors and a stand alone shower and a seperate huge tub. Double sink. Very nice.

Yeh, I would pretty much go along with that. They are so close to each other anyway that it makes virtually no difference, go for the one with the best rates (Palazzo was almost $200 cheaper for me in total over 10 days, booked through Lastminute) but it does depend on how your trip fits into wkend rates etc and if they are booked up with conferences.

I do think the Palazzo pool area is better as it has sunken loungers and the rooms are inevitably that bit fresher in terms of decor. The Venetian has a better ambience in the shopping / reataurant area but you have to put up with the heavily scented air all the time which can become a little oppressing after a while. You can walk through to all that internally from the Palazzo in 5 mins anyway.

Ok so i just talked with my travel agent and she said the Venetian is sold out during my dates. So does everyone pretty much agree that the mirage is a better choice then PH? It will be about $40.00 more for the mirage total.
