italian restaurant with a view?

Would like to have dinner one night while in Vegas and have a good view of the strip. Mabye somewhere at the top of one of the hotels? Im thinking italian food b/c I looked at the menus for Top of the world and for Mix and dont really like that kind of fancy food. Any suggestions?

Canaletto has a nice view of the Canal Shoppes...

If you%26#39;re looking for a top floor type place with an awesome view then you%26#39;re out of luck as none of those are Italian. If you have an aversion to ';fancy food'; then VooDoo Steak at the Rio may work for you.

You might want to look at Nove Italiano at the Palms. It is on the top floor, so it fits some of your requirements

I have not been there so I cannot comment on the restaurant or the view.

Good Luck.

I%26#39;ll let you in on a little secret. At least it seems to be a secret since I don%26#39;t see people talking (writing?) on here too much about it.

There is an italian restaurant on Sunset just east of Las Vegas Blvd. called Panevino. Wonderful food and best of all, AWESOME view of the strip! It%26#39;s ground level, but it has huge windows that look directly at the strip from about a block away. Sunset is just south of the Mandalay Bay.

Nove at The Palms does have nice views.. I%26#39;d recommend that. Very trendy place and menu. As with most places their portions are pretty big and I actually shared my entree.

Although we like Canaletto a lot, especially sitting ';outside'; in the indoor square the view is sort of (OK, totally) artiicial. The food though is reasonable and very good.

Doesn%26#39;t Circo at Bellagio overlook the fountain? It%26#39;s Italian. A bit on the fancy side but less so than other places.
