Incline Accommodation

I am looking for places to stay in Incline Village in feb 09%26#39;. Thers really doesnt seem to be much in the lower price ranges at all. No bed and breakfasts etc.... Can anyone recommend anywhere. Should I consider an affordable condo rental fro Goldfish properties or Inn at Incline?

Take a look at VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owners)

Click on Nevada, then Incline Village.

Incline Accommodation

Kings Beach is only 5 miles down the road from Incline. That might be a good option for you aside from Incline. (Yes, the Hyatt is pricey.) There are quite a few (older but more reasonable) motels there, as well as the CalNeva and Biltmore casino hotels. Both the Falcon Motel and the Sun %26amp; Sand Lodge are on the lake side of the highway in Kings Beach, and seem to be pretty well kept. Plus, free shuttle buses run through town to the various ski resorts on the north %26amp; west sides of the lake, including Squaw, Alpine, Northstar %26amp; Diamond Peak. Renting a condo is a good plan, though, as they have kitchens and you can eat for le$$ by cooking it yourself. I%26#39;m always amazed (depressed?) when I travel out of the Tahoe area at how ';cheap'; dining out is once you%26#39;re ';off the mountain!';

Incline Village is one of the highest income avg. annual income towns in the U.S. Those folks would not allow ';cheap lodging'; within their town, so you need to stay somewhere else.

check out Cal-Neva Hotel at Crystal Bay about 4 miles up the highway. If you can get a room there for $89 its a great deal. Suites are worth $129 or so. Views of Lake Tahoe cannot be beat from those hotel rooms.

You might want to check into renting a house -they%26#39;re surprisingly reasonable, all sizes and lots of locations through Tahoe Luxury Properties (www.tluxp.com). Their web site is amazing, informative and they are just great to work with.

tlux is one of my faves as well.
