KA by Cirque du Soleil?

Is it worth watching?

If so, where is the best/cheapest place to get tickets?

If not, could anyone recommend a show that is please.

Thanks

KA by Cirque du Soleil?

hey there-

i just saw KA last week and definitely think it was worth it. It was a very spontaneous decision for us.

(4 of us traveling together ranging in age from 27 to 35).

we bought tickets the night before the show while walking through MGM. i believe we paid $99 per ticket for center seats towards the back of the theater.

it was very impressive and we all loved it!

and we%26#39;re not the typical show kind of people either. :)

go to the tix4tonight booths on the strip, there are a few of them. you can get ka tickets cheapest there. havent seen ka, but did check out mystere and o last week.....both were great, i really liked mystereand also can be found cheap at the discount booths. category 2 seats were like $60.

My mother and I seen KA a few months ago. We both loved it! I would highly recommend this show. I don%26#39;t know when you are going to Las Vegas, but broadway box has 25% off select shows in September. This is the link:

broadwaybox.com/lasvegas/shows/ka_by_cirque_…

I want to see KA but we only see one Cirque show a year and this year is Criss Angel Believe. Maybe next year.

I enjoyed the show and would recommend it.

In addition to the purchasing methods mentioned, you can call the box office and purchase tickets (and pick them up when you arrive in Vegas). Travelzoo.com is another website to check for any discounts.

I%26#39;ve seen Love, Ka, O and Mystere(twice). Mystere remains my favorite because I feel it has the most WOW moments. Love was fantastic but it isn%26#39;t a typical CDS show-the emphasis is on the music. O was good but not as good as Mystere. Ka was my least favorite. The stage was great but that was it- it didn%26#39;t hold my interest at all. The other three were better IMHO. I would choose Mystere or Love.

Check these sites to see if there are any discounted tickets available:

www.goldstar.com

www.broadwaybox.com

Ka tickets are sometimes available for 10/20% off at the discount kiosks but it is hit or miss. Tickets may not be offered while you are there and they are for that night only.

We saw Ka in December and were absolutely blown away. I highly recommend this show. As with everything, you%26#39;ll get varying opinions, but for me it was an amazing mix of athleticism, skill, artistry, technology and story-line. I%26#39;ve only been to one other CDS show, which was more traditional (lots of aerialists, tumbling, jugglers, etc) and I found Ka to be far better. However, if you are looking for a more traditional show you might want to look into Mystere.

I really enjoyed Ka, found it to be better than Mystere and Zumanity. I liked Love and O better but still consider Ka an excellant show. There are a few slow moments (shadow puppets especially) but those are made up by some really amazing scenes.

We went to KA a few years ago. I was pretty much speechless the rest of the night. Sensory overload. I am a HUGE Cirque du Soleil fan and take in whatever show I can. They are all different but each show features amazing athletic and precise gymastic skills. The costumes and makeup are amazing. The music is dream-like.

We have seen Mystere and ';O'; in LV. Saw ';O'; last year. All I can say is ';O';MG!

KA has more of a storyline that you can actually follow whereas traditional Cirque shows leave you wondering ';what was that all about?';

The theatre is great as well. Reminded me of the thunderdome from Mad Max.

I can%26#39;t wait for Believe end of October.

Enjoy.
