NYNY Construction Question

Does anyone know if this will still be going on in November? I was there in April and it was not a noticable issue in my opinion, but by reading some reviews and other posts, I am curious...Thanks.

We were there Labor Day weekend and the following week, and honestly the construction is completely a non-issue. We were also there this past April, and didn%26#39;t think it was a problem then, either. Since you%26#39;ve been there last, Rok has been completed and they%26#39;ve also finished the Player%26#39;s Club area and the new High Stakes area as well....both look VERY nice. Have a great trip - can%26#39;t wait to hear how it%26#39;s progressing when you%26#39;re there in November!!!

According to the blog I went to from BEEEEJAY (sp..?), it is scheduled to be finished this month. So....we shall see. Two months from right I will be winding up my trip to come home (heavy sigh)...hopefully with a fat wallet :-) (Wishful thinking).

i%26#39;ll be dropping off a load of cash in that NYNY high limit room in 39 days!!! i%26#39;ll post a trip report with lots of pics around Nov 1st.

Does anyone know where the band Soul Desire currently play? The last time I went to NYNY (2005) they were playing in The Big Apple Bar and they were fantastic. We%26#39;re heading to Vegas next month (Oct) and would love to see them again.
