Terribles info

Staying in terribles late September to early October, but have just read article in Review Journal saying company has until Sept 30 to come up with package to satisfy creditors or they essentialy will go belly up any local info from l.v. residents would be helpful ,,i.e.shoul we start looking for alternative accomodation from Sept 30..thanks in advance

Had a look on casino death watch and they have not reported anything. That site usually has alot of info on the like. I doubt it would shut down that quickly but if you are worried there are loads of alternatives to pick from. Personally I would look at Orleans, South Point or Gold Coast as alternatives to Terribles. I asume you have visited the place before? Not stayed there myself but went to check it out to see if I would for another time and thought would give it a miss, not to our liking but I know everyone is different.

I agree that there are a number of infinitely better choices for a hotel.

Thanks for the link. I hope they will hang in there. I got nervous when they bought all the properties in Primm, I thought they were over extending themselves. Sorry, Blagger I disagree with you on this one. I think for what it is, Terribles is a shining star in its class.

Terrible%26#39;s is a dump and has been operating ';on the cheap'; for many months so why bother with them?

Service has gone downhill fast, housekeeping staff has been cut 65% and all the ';good'; employeees have already left for better jobs.

Check out Orleans and Gold coast if you need a ';budget'; hotel.

I agree with Steve. Orleans is a much nicer place than Terribles.

Th average LV resident doesn%26#39;t know anymore than can be found in the news outlets - internet, newspaper, radio - we all have access to the same info.

Herbst has been in trouble for a while, it%26#39;s been known and is public info. many businesses, including LC hotels, go through times like these.
