has anyone had any trouble with mozzy bites in vegas coz if they re there they ll head straight for me they love me as much as i hate them do i need to take stuff with me do you think thanks

Mosquitoes need hot, damp and humid conditions to thrive. Deserts are a terrible habitat as far as they%26#39;re concerned! You won%26#39;t be troubled by them in Vegas.

The only insects I%26#39;ve encountered in Vegas were some bees (hanging in the shrubbery at MGM and Venetian pools) and a cricket in the dining area of the Wynn buffet. If you%26#39;re planning any trips to Lake Las Vegas or Lake Mead, you may want to be safe than sorry and bring your stuff......

The place for mosquitos in Las Vegas are the ';empty'; swimming pools at foreclosed homes in residential areas.

Stay away from Canada in the summer. outhouses can be pure torture.

It looks like the question if there still are .99 buffets has some competition and the one about if you can win a million dollars betting a penny is out of the running.

Sorry I disagree with this being a stupid/dumb question. I live in Phoenix (same heat/dry weather as LV). We have mosquitos. I do not have a pool or any standing water and yet we still have them. The city has to do a blanket spray over different sections of the city all the time. Las Vegas may be different, but I%26#39;d still take something.

I%26#39;ve never been to LV before (going next week) and I also did not know about the mosquitoes. The purpose of these forums is to get advice from the people who have been there. If you can%26#39;t be civil with your replies, don%26#39;t reply. Simple really!
