Xmas in Vegas

Hi everyone, My husband %26amp; I are going to spend Xmas in Vegas this year. I%26#39;m just wondering if this is a really busy time there.

It%26#39;s not slow but it is a little less crowded. I am going on Dec 26 -Dec 29 and it%26#39;s the 3rd year we have gone during Xmas. I think you will enjoy being there at that time.

It%26#39;s not a particularly busy time but it%26#39;s not dead either. Most of the action will be at the nicer properties - everybody goes to Bellagio and the like to see the Christmas decorations.

We%26#39;ve gone the last few years too and since Christmas Day lands on a Mon., it%26#39;s just as crowded as any other weekend, if not more. You%26#39;d be surprised at how many people don%26#39;t really celebrate Christmas and end up going to Vegas.

can you please call it Christmas insteada xmas? I just hate that : )

No, its no more busy than usual, but, Dec 28th till New Years ,it gets wayy crazy

THANK YOU Cynda. I HATE when people take Christ out of Christmas. Doesn%26#39;t matter if you believe in him or not, the day still ORIGINATED as a day to celebrate HIS birth.

P.S. Have Fun in Vegas. I don%26#39;t think there%26#39;s a such thing as a bad trip to Vegas...it%26#39;s Disney World for Adults :-)

Wow, I sure seem to have opened a can of worms haven%26#39;t I? I am a Christian and I wholly support the CHRISTMAS theme. This internet chatting has everyone shortening all sorts of words as ';u'; for ';you';, ';2'; for ';too'; etc. I did not mean to offend anyone. Thank you for the information on Las Vegas at Christmastime everyone and I am sure that I will enjoy it to the hilt.

Xmas was a pagan holiday which the Christians/Catholics took over to assist in changing the religion. Whether it is Xmas, Christmas or something else it is about good wishes not fairy tales.

Xmas in Vegas is very nice and not very crowded. Has a lot of asians and arabs at that time was the only difference I noticed. Oh and pretty decorations at the Bellagio.

Heard a very funny song on the radio on the way to work this morning. ';Christmas in Las Vegas'; by Richard Cheese.

I did a Google search on it and it looks like it is available for download from i-tunes, but I%26#39;m not sure.

If anyone can find another source, let me know. I don%26#39;t want to by the CD just for one song. The CD is entitled ';The Silent Nightclub';.
