We%26#39;ll be in N. Lake Tahoe next week - 4 adults - and are interested in renting bikes to ride along the Truckee River..does the path go from Tahoe City all the way to Squaw Valley? Where should we rent from? How far is it? Thanks for any advice!

Great ride down but it is uphill on hte way back.
Rent in Tahoe City and ride along the path to River Ranch which is about 3 miles. After that the bike path runs out about a mile or so late at Midway Bridge. After that you have to ride on the road with cars to the turn off to Squaw Valley about 1/2 mile later.
