Riverside Resort

How is this hotel? Hubby is very allergic to smoke. Will he have a problem here? Friends got a really good deal and we are tagging along. It has been 10 years since we were here. Anything new? Have read at least 100 posts since I found out we are coming out from Ohio. We will be there Oct 11-15. What is the nicest non-smoking casino? Can%26#39;t wait.

Thanks for your help.

Vicki

Riverside is an old dump that is VERY smoky.

Golden Nugget would be a good choice because the casino area is pretty small and ventilation is excellent. I am allergic to cig smoke and have never noticed any smoke at all there unless you are right next to some leatherfaced smoker.

They even have a small slots and VP area completely away from the casino floor that is non-smoking. Their non-smoking rooms are very fresh.

Riverside does have a non smoking gaming area that isn%26#39;t bad, but steve is right the rest of the place is really smokey. Its not the most modern place but its not a dump.

stayed at the riverside last month. i hate smoke myself and i dont ever remember being bothered by it but yes they do have a non smoking casino. i didnt think it was a dump at all. in fact i was very impressed with how clean our rooms were there considering how old the place is.

The Riverside gets a bad rap! It%26#39;s machines have a great payoff record. It is certainly not a dump, unless you are a Sarah Palin fan.

Thanks everyone for letting me know what you think. I will report back with pictures when we get back the middle of October. By the way anyone have any pictures of this place? I am sure we will love being back in Laughlin again, it has been way too long.

Thanks again,

Vicki

Harrah%26#39;s also has a non smoking area to play at which was very nice.

We also like the Riverside. We seem to always find a place to play where the smoke isn%26#39;t a factor. It%26#39;s a big place and fun to play there and we don%26#39;t consider it a ';dump';
